Growing Up at the Pumpkin Farm

This weekend we made our annual trek to the Pumpkin Farm, the same one we've been visiting for ten years! This visit is filled with all kinds of nostalgia and sweet memories for me...

1998 ~ This was the day we announced that we were expecting again!

1999 ~ Our first visit as a family of five!

2000

2001 ~ This was only one month after 9/11. I welcomed the feelings of "normalcy" created by this visit.

2002

2003

2004

2005 ~ This was only days before my husband and I left for Papua New Guinea. I was filled with a lot of conflicting emotions.

"I will hope continually
and will praise you yet more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation all the day,
for their number is past my knowledge.
With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come;
I will remind them of Your righteousness, Yours alone.
O God, from my youth You have taught me,
and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
So even to old age and gray hairs,
O God, do not forsake me,
until I proclaim your might to another generation,
Your power to all those who come.
Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens.
You who have done great things,
O God, who is like You?
Psalm 71:14-19

Wow, i love seeing the boys through these pics! The red cowboy boots, hat and bandana made me smile, as they made a repeat visit for a few years!

Happy Birthday, my sweet daughter! I love you!

What a lovely tradition. It is so sweet to see how much your boys have grown over these past years. Happy Birthday, friend!

I love to see the photos of your family and the changes they make from year to year. I love your traditions that, for the most part, do not change. God is so faithful. Thanks for sharing His love and blessings for your family with us.
We love and miss you!!

What a wonderful way to look back and see how your family has grown and how the Lord has blessed you. That was a very neat post. i wish I could do that but don't have a spot like that where we all go each year but could maybe do with Christmas photos.
I can tell you are sentimental like I am and feel so blessed to be a mother of wonderful children given us by God above!
Have a wonderful weekend!
