Day 30 of Autumn Bliss

I must be a big girl now.
'Cause I have one of these in my refrigerator.

And it's not simply for decoration.
I actually have plans to cook it.
And eat it.

I can hear my mom now.
"Who are you and what have you done with my daughter?"

That's one of the blissful parts of fall.
New recipes. New tastes. New flavors.
New experimentations. New surprises.
And in each home, bliss looks a little bit different.

As for Mr. Lunt up there...I have plans to make Nigella Lawson's Pappardelle with Butternut Squash and Blue Cheese.

Sounds good, no? And in case you're wondering, I'm sure my boys won't touch it with a 10-foot pole. I'm thinking this dish might be served at a late-night dinner for two.

Man, this brings me to Day 30 of my promised "30 Days [or more] of Autumn Bliss." Since a squash doesn't seem like a very exciting way to conclude, I'll be back with some closing bliss.

That does sound delightful! I love squash in any form but in my case three children will eat it and the rest of the family will not touch it -- except for a beef stew that I made with squash instead of potatoes. Glad you have a husband who enjoys the foods you do!

Happy Cooking!

P.S. Your link requested a login to BHG but I googled it and found the recipe elsewhere.
