Span-the-Miles Autumn Bliss ~ Day 20

Candy Corn.
I don't even really care for the stuff.
But I must have it around this time of year,
simply because it brings faraway loved ones
(who happen to love it) a little bit closer.
And each time I spy my candy dish
or see the mason jar on my shelf,
I smile.
That's how it is with some autumn bliss.
It's just nostalgic.
You love it because of the people and
the memories associated with it.
And that's one of the best reasons of all.

I was laying in bed this morning wandering what the Autumn Bliss of the day would be ... and it's candy corn, I should have guessed:)

I can't believe how your style, your nostalgia, your music, your character, your classiness (did I just invent a new word?), your heart and your gentle quiet spirit has blessed my life in every way. You are my everything! I love you!

And then I wind up eating all the candy corn . . .

Candy corn was my food staple for the month of October when I was a kid. Every time I see it I smile...and quickly get away from it lest the temptation to indulge overwhelms me! ha ha
