Monday Happy

So I was sitting here sipping my (ahem) third cup of coffee, catching up on a few of my favorite blogs while the washer and dryer hum away, when I received an unexpected notice that Jen had presented me with a blog award! Thanks, Jen, for so graciously recognizing my blog. You put a big smile on my face this Monday morning!

The rules for the "I Love Your Blog" award are:

In return, I would like to present this award to these friends who have blessed, encouraged, and spurred me on through their writings and ponderings. While top honors would certainly go to my husband, I very highly doubt that he's into posting blog awards in his sidebar!

Homeschool Blog Awards

I was surprised and completely humbled to learn that I've been nominated for the Homeschool Blog Awards!

I was simply visiting a friend's blog and noticed that she had a link to nominations for the awards. Imagine my shock as I scrolled through the list of nominees and discovered my blog on the list! Thank you to the kind soul who so sweetly nominated me.

I'm up for both the "Best Homeschool Mom" and "Live What You Believe" categories. Voting begins today, April 9, and runs through Friday. The link in my sidebar will take you to the voting page. If you feel so inclined to vote for me or any of my blogging friends, it would be greatly appreciated!

And as voting kicks off, I just want to thank all those in the homeschool blogging community who have offered so much encouragement, inspiration, comic relief, and prayer support. I count it a blessing to be part of such a community.
