I love my chalkboard.
It was a gift from our youth staff a couple years ago.
They made it for me so I could post the menu when our high school and college students come over for morning coffee at "Caffe Nikkita."
But I've found multiple other uses for it, too.
In addition to posting menus, I post:
Bible verses I'm memorizing
Favorite quotes
Birthday greetings
Warm welcome messages to guests
Affirming words to my guys
Seasonal/Holiday verses
It hangs in our dining room. It inspires me. Motivates me.
It causes my heart to smile each time I look at it.
I've been eying those cool chalkboard markers that are used on restaurant chalkboards--the look of chalk with the ease of a marker! They open up a whole new world of possibilities!
