Where, oh, where does time go? Our boys are growing up so quickly. And I guess I notice it the most with our oldest son, as he's the first to venture into what was previously uncharted territory...at least for us.
Now he's done gone and gotten himself a job! A paper route, to be exact!
He's just subbing for the weekend, as our neighbor (the regular paperboy) is out of town. He was so excited to head out this morning (his dad accompanying him) and take on this responsibility he'd accepted. And once again, I was faced with the truth that our son is on the road to manhood.
Oh, that God would take our sons and do in their hearts what only He can. How we pray that He uses these day-to-day experiences to build in them godly character. We pray that through these things, He molds them into men of virtue who are prepared to lead their homes, families, and churches.
"And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him." Luke 2:40
