for the sunrise and new mercies,
for running, for laughter, for pink,
for coffee with hazelnut creamer,
for balance, for perspective,
for unexpected (but much needed) encouragement,
for kindred hearts, for unity,
for closeness despite distance, for long-awaited reunions,
for autumn leaves, for family nights,
for happy memories, for growth through pain,
for strong hugs, for whispered "I love you"s,
for a haven we call home, for forgiveness,
for God's extravagant grace.
